Last day in Switzerland

At 10.30 we arrived at the train station in Weinfelden. From there we went to Zurich Airport in an hour. For all the students who flew for the first time, it was an exciting moment when both classes checked in and waited for the take-off.
When we arrived in Cambridge some of us had to wait more or less long, because the taxi drivers drove us to our host families. At the new home I saw Paul and Elaine Rowledge (my host parents) for the first time. They were very kindly and this atmosphere is supported by Chasper, their cat, Rex, their dog and the small, but friendly house.
After a shower, I felt like born again and I began to unpack my luggage in my room. When I finished putting my clothes and other things in the wardrobe I didn’t have to wait long before I could eat a good dinner with rice and meat. I had heard that the English meals aren’t as good as our meals in Switzerland, but that’s not true.

In the evening, I wrote some words for my blog and organised the next day. I received a bus plan, on which I could see, when I would have to catch the bus. I received a letter from Eurocentres too, just for some theoretical stuff about insurances in case of emergency. After that I wanted to enjoy the last sunny hours with some friends in my new environment.
